HOMEE CONNECTS - The Brain Cube is the heart of your Smart Home. The basic white cube - we call it the "Brain Cube" - is the heart and, naturally, the brain of homee. Meaning, whatever you want to do with homee in your Smart Home - you need the Brain Cube. With only the Brain Cube you can already control many popular Smart Home devices, which are directly connected to the internet or operating in your local WiFi.

You can combine them to small programs which they call “homeegrams”. Only with the homee Brain Cube, you can control for example AVM FRITZ! sockets and radiator thermostats, NUKI door lock, Belkin WeMo devices, netamto weather station or HomeMatic (via CCU2).

Z-Wave Cube

With the homee Z-Wave Cube as extension to the Brain Cube, you control a variety of Z-Wave devices. Currently, more than 700 manufacturers are using Z-Wave technology in their devices, and more than 2.400 of them are already available on the market today.

The Z-Wave Cube supports a variety of devices, which have been tested by the homee team themselves. Here you will find an overview of compatible Z-Wave devices. We can recommend our products from Aeotec, which have been tested by homee as well as by ourselves to ensure their comprehensive functionality.

You could use the Z-Wave Cube to control your blinds and roller shutters by making them smart. You can define times when heating should be turned to any chosen comfort temperature, saving you money on heating - this is no problem with the Danfoss LC-13 radiator thermostat. Via our homeegrams, radiator thermostats can automatically be switched off once a window is opened, helping you to prevent energy waste. If security is your concern, you can add devices such as smoke detectors to your home, which alert you via push notification of fire or smoke, while also opening the blinds and turning on lights in order to create escape routes.

Once you leave your apartment, you can enable homeegrams alerting you if one of your doors, windows or motion sensors detect an unexpected event during your absence. Additionally, an alarm siren like the Aeotec siren could be activated.
