Quickstart

This is a secure Notification Sensor for XXXQFrequencyName. To run this device please insert fresh 1 * CR17335 batteries. To run this device please make sure the internal battery is fully charged.
A.) Slide the base unit from the mounting plate and remove the safety strip from the battery compartment
B.) Click the + (Add) button in your Z-Wave App and follow the further instructions
C.) Press the Network-button 3 times within 1.5 seconds and the Status-LED on the base unit front will flash 3 times. The App will show if the Add device process was successful and the Status-LED will turn off. Repeat the inclusion process from step B if it was not successful.

Product Description

The ABUS Z-Wave Smoke detector provides reliable warning of risk of potentially fatal smoke inhalation and sounds an alarm. It‘s compact design does not compromise the functionality but even convinces with low maintenance due to 5 years of battery life. The Smoke detector also includes a test button for manual self-testing, for test alarms and temporary muting.

Installation

- Flat ceiling mounting

The preferred location to install smoke sensor is in the centre of the ceiling, because smoke,  heat and combusible products rise to ceiling and will laterally spread. Keep at least 30 cm distance  from lights or decoration and at least 17cm away from walls and corners.

- Sloping ceiling mounting

If ceiling is sloping, please install the smok sensor at horizontal distance 90 cm away from the ceiling top.


Installation guide

 
- Anticlockwise rotation the bracket out from the installation base.



- Fixed the bracket intoceiling using srews.
- Remove the double-sided adhersive and stickalarm into ceiling


- Remove the battery insulating strip to make detector on power and clockwise rotating alarm into bracket.

Product Usage



Reset to factory default 1. Remove the battery
2. Press the Network button and keep it pressed while inserting the battery again.
3. Device will restore factory settings

Exclusion A.) Click the - (Remove) button in your Z-Wave App and follow the further instructions.
B.) Press the Network-button 3 times within 1.5 seconds and the Status-LED on the base unit front will flash 3 times. The App will show if the Remove device process was successful and the Status-LED on device will flash 6 times. Repeat the exclusion process from step A if it was not successful.
