Quickstart

This is a On/Off Power Switch for XXXQFrequencyName. To run this device please connect it to your mains power supply. To add this device to your network execute the following action:
1) Connect the power supply.2) Set the Z-Wave network main controller into learning mode (see Z-Wave network controller operating manual).3) Triple click the Z-Button, LED indicator should blink fast4) Smart Switch should be recognized and included into the Z-Wave network.

Product Description

Smart Switch is a Z-Wave Switch module specifically used to enable Z-Wave command and control (on/off) of any connected device such as bulbs.

Reset to factory default 1) Power on the Switch.2) Press and hold the Z-button for more than 20 seconds.3) If holding time more than one second, the LED will blink faster and faster. If holding time more than 20 seconds, the LED indicator will be on for 3 seconds, which indicates that the reset is complete, then it will blink slowly indicating that it is not a part of a Z-Wave network.Use this procedure only in the event that the network primary controller is missing or otherwise inoperable.

Configuration Parameters

Parameter 21: Setting device status after power failure

Define how the Smart Switch reacts after the power supply is back on.
Size: 1 Byte, Default Value: 0

Setting Description
0 Smart Switch memorizes its state after a power failure
1 Smart Switch will be on after the power supply is reconnected.
2 Smart Switch will be off after the power supply is reconnected.

Parameter 24: Notification when Load status change

Smart Switch can send notifications to association device (Group Lifeline) when state of Smart Switchs load is changed.
Size: 1 Byte, Default Value: 1

Setting Description
0 The function is disabled.
1 Send Basic report.
2 Send Basic report only when Load condition is not changed by Z-WAVE Command.

Parameter 27: Indicator modes

After Smart Switch being included into a Z-Wave network, the LED in the device will indicator the state of load.
Size: 1 Byte, Default Value: 0

Setting Description
0 The LED will follow the status (on/off) of its load.
1 When the state of Smart Switchs load changed, The LED will follow the status (on/off) of its load, but the red LED will turn off after 5 seconds if there is no more switch action.
